By-laws may be amended, revised, or repealed at any annual meeting of the association by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the membership present. Amendments to the by-laws may be proposed by any member of the association. Such proposals should be presented to the By-laws Chairperson. Any proposed change shall be made available to the membership at least one month prior to the annual meeting.
The By-laws are the "rules" adopted by the membership to be used in conducting the business of the association. The By-laws cover such topics as eligibility for membership; officers, delegates, and elections; meetings and quorums; Board of Directors; committees; finances; parliamentary authority; and procedure for amending the By-laws.
